Biennial Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

All lecturers are required to complete Stanford University's Sexual Harassment Prevention Training once every two years. Proof of certification must be provided to the Assistant Director of Finance and Operations prior to the first day of classes. 

An active SUNet ID is required to access the STARS (SHP-2022) training course. Your SUNet ID will activate automatically on the first date of your appointment. Please refer to the Sexual Harassment Policy Office's Course Enrollment Website for instructions on how to register for the course.

Course Content

This program includes the topics of harassment prohibition and prevention, relevant federal and state law and victim's potential remedies, emphasizing the needs of students. It is interactive and includes practical examples and ways to prevent harassment, discrimination and retaliation specially tailored for the dynamic academic setting.

Confirmation of Completion

A certificate of completion is available for download or printing upon completion of the training; please print this out and return it to the Assistant Manager for your appointment file. Your STARS training history will be updated within 3 days to show that you have completed the course.
